This is the first installment of a three part article about Dr. Gary Michelson. Who is Dr. Gary Michelson? Why is so very little known about his family, upbringing and past? There is a really good reason for this. Dr. Gary Michelson doesn't want people to know about his past. You have to do a little digging and not trust the information he gives to the media such as his name and birthdate. For instance below is a photo from Dr. Gary Michelson's aka Gerald Michaelson's high school year book. Some of this I dug up in 2005 when I first heard about him. Dr. Gary Michelson says he's an animal lover and is pro-neuter. That is at odds with his behavior of allowing his un-neutered pitbull to roam the street and mount dogs at the dog park. That's also at odds with his multiple guilty convictions for having his dog off leash. This is from when he lived near the beach. Notice, two spellings of his name. He is Gerald "Gary" Karlin Michelson aka Michaelson.

I'll post the next two parts in the next few days. It will cover his family, marriages, divorces, ex-business partners and business deals.
I'm posting this because Dr. Gary Michelson has for no reason whatsoever been defaming me since 2007. I will be setting the record straight here. I completely supported Gary in every way. When the Mayor's office was asking me for the money Dr. Gary Michelson promised to give in exchange for hiring Ed Boks, I told Boks and the Mayor's office that he was just busy hiring a new director. I covered for him at every turn. I believed the defamation he said about Dave Loftus. I actually apologized to Dave Loftus when the LAPD said that Gary lied about Dave. Then Gary lied about me. Gary continues to spread his defamation about me to others.
Gary never fired me. He even told me "I never fired you." He told me he always loved my work. I did a great job. Then he perjured himself in a sworn statement and said he fired me because I did a bad job. He continues to state this and even worse to others. I just heard it from one of his employees a few months ago. People need to know that Gary has a history of turning on people and defaming them. You can't believe what he says. I pity anyone who does business with him. He refuses to put things in writing. He'll talk on the phone and receive letters, faxes but he won't send a letter, fax or email. This way he can lie and deny that he said anything.
