In the first scene this male opossum is making smacking sounds to call to other opossums. Mom opossums call to their babies so they'll get on their back so she can travel. Males call to females looking for a mate. They also sometimes just call to each other.

In the second and third scenes the opossum is sliming my flashlight and then a cage. Opossums love to smell and slime items that smell interesting. He slimes my flashlight because it smells like my hand. He then slimes the small cage next to him. He opens his mouth when he does this and gets saliva on the item.

*This is not a wild opossum. Do not do this with a wild opossum or he will bite you and it will hurt.
