| The boat "Ady Gil" |
Ady Gil and Earthrace sued Paul Watson and SSCS for breach of written contract, breach of oral contract, fraud/misrepresentation, fraud/promise with no intention to perform, conversion, unfair business practices, negligence per se and negligence.
January 6, 2010 the boat named "Ady Gil" was rammed by a Japanese whaling ship. Paul Watson, SSCS stated the boat sank because it was rammed by the Japanese. That was not the truth. Even though the boat was repairable Paul Watson ordered people to flood the engine and sink the ship. It is believed Watson did this to garner favorable publicity for himself and SSCS.
I was talking to Ady about these events while they were happening. I saw the check. I verified that they received it via SSCS's 990 tax return even though Paul Watson denied this. I saw and still have a copy of the email/post Pete Bethune made about the true story about the sinking of the Ady Gil.
The actual complaint is linked below along with the contracts. I fully support Ady Gil in this action. As long as I've known him he has always told the truth. He is a true hero to animals
